Lesson Programs

Private instruction is available from our PGA Golf Professionals.

To schedule an individual or series of lessons contact the golf shop for information on our instructors.

Group lessons are available for adults and juniors. Adult groups are one hour in length and meet once a week for four weeks. Junior groups are 45 minutes in length and meet once a week for four weeks.

Group Lesson Sessions

Spring Session: April 29 – May 25
Summer 1 Session: June 3 – June 29
Summer 2 Session: July 8 – August 3

Lessons meet once a week on the scheduled day for four weeks.


Adult Group Lessons

Level 1 Adult Group Lessons

$100 – Maximum of 10 students

Level 1 lessons will acquaint the student with the game of golf at a fun introductory level. The classes will focus on a basic understanding of the golf course, the equipment used to play the game, full swing basics and short game fundamentals.

Level 2 Adult Group Lessons

$100 – Maximum of 8 students

Level 2 is for the player that has had some experience playing the game of golf. The classes will focus on a working knowledge of the golf swing and short game. Fundamentals will be stressed in a detailed fashion with emphasis on proper technique and swing position.

Adult Lesson Schedule

Level 1 Monday: 6:00pm Wednesday: 10:30am Wednesday: 6:00pm

Level 2 Thursday: 6:00pm Saturday: 10:30am

Junior Group Lessons

$60 – Maximum of 10 students

Junior lessons will cover the basic concepts of golf in a fun and exciting style. The classes will focus on the setup, full swing, chipping and putting. Juniors will learn about the general motion of each stroke, the equipment used to play golf and golf course etiquette.

Junior Lesson Schedule

Ages 9 – 12 Monday: 5:00pm Wednesday: 5:00pm

Ages 13 – 17 Thursday: 10:30am* Thursday: 5:00pm

Eagle Valley & The First Tee join forces

 

 

Eagle Valley has the privilege to bring The First Tee program to Woodbury. It is not only our goal to introduce golf as a life-sport to your children, but also include character development that can be used on and off the golf course well into 9 core valuestheir future. The First Tee does offer scholarships for those students that cannot afford all or part of the fees to participate in this fantastic program.

The First Tee’s programs are designed around teaching young people the game of golf, as well as helping them understand and ultimately develop The First Tee Nine Core ValuesTM: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment. The First Tee curriculum was developed by experts in the field of positive youth development through sport and is delivered by caring adults (coaches) who have been formally trained by The First Tee.
