Men’s Club Information

Eagle Valley Men’s Club is organized to:

Promote the game of golf and provide access to competitive leagues and events.

Provide handicap service for its members.

Provide access to local and national golf organizations such as USGA and MGA.

Provide a social outlet for people with similar interests.

Registration

To register, fill out a registration form (PDF) including dues and return to the golf shop.

Men’s Club Event Guidelines

Eligibility:
All members in good standing. If the event uses a USGA handicap, player will be considered scratch unless a handicap has been established.

Prizes:
The schedule of prizes will be announced on the entry form. The total prizes will include all the entry fees plus a supplemental amount from club dues.

Entry Fees:
The fee for all competitions except the Club Championship will be $20. The Club Championship entry fee will be $30 for the two-day event. All Entries are individual unless noted.

Rules:
Both formal event and local rules will be published and available at the time of registration.

Registration:
All entries must be received on or before the Tuesday preceding the event. Participants may register in person, over the phone, or on-line with a Visa or Mastercard. No registrations will be taken after the Tuesday deadline.

Starting times:
Group pairings and starting times will be available on Thursday. Participants may check eaglevalleygc.com or contact the golf shop for individual starting times. The players are responsible for knowing their starting time.


Match Play Events

16-Man Team

The “16-Man Team” is a club versus club match play tournament conducted by the Minnesota Public Golf Association. The matches are played at scratch – no handicaps are involved. Each club sends 16 players to each match. The 16 players are paired into 8 two-man teams which play an 18-hole match against the opposing team.
